I definitely agree with your statement that horror movies are usually so far from the realm of reality that the moral of it is usually, in most cases, non existent. Had I read the original tale I would have thought the hook on the passengers side was there to inform the boy of his fate if had not taken the girl home. Although I wouldn’t have completely missed the point, all of the symbolism that you pointed out was totally over my head. It was actually kind of funny how the people of the time associated the meaning in such an extreme way. You had a few spelling errors and your essay is extremely small font wise but overall your essay was good.
